Rear Axle Optimization of SIGMA Sports Car
Repka, Martin ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with analysis and following optimisation of a Sigma TN sports car suspension. Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and strength of materials was used during the optimisation. Kinematic and force analysis was carried out in software ADAMS Car. A FEM analysis was processed in Ansys Workbench environment. Three design concepts were worked out, in which Topology optimisation also found use.
Vehicle Kinematics and Dynamics Simulations
Zháňal, Lubor ; Bauer, František (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This paper focuses on the kinematic and dynamic numerical simulation of mechanisms by applying a numerical method, and a complex simulation programme built on it, developed by the author. Described are mathematical principles of the numerical method used and also the programming progression of the important parts of the application and its optimization. The final part includes comparative measuring of the accuracy and performance.
Motorcycle Springing and Damping System
Filka, Tomáš ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis consists of theoretical overview about motorcycle chassis and suspension systems as well as information about springs and dampers. It is also focused on practical usage of multibody simulation for motorcycle suspension testing which leads to the development of series of virtual riding tests built within MSC Adams View software environment. Then the results are further discussed together with suggestions for future improvement of this model.
Multibody Model of Agricultural Tractor with Cab Suspension
Kadlec, Jakub ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
Diploma thesis is oriented at suspension of commercial vehicle and tractor cab. It describes current state-of-art suspension systems, methods of measuring and evaluating ride comfort. Developed multibody model of tractor is used to compare different suspension concepts and a sensitivity analysis of parameters related to ride comfort is made.
